Dennis Benigno is the founder and CEO of Street Cop Training and began formal police instruction in 2012.  His law enforcement career began in 2001 at 19 years of age as a NJ Corrections Officer. In 2004 Benigno became a police officer with the US Park Police Dept. in Washington, DC and in 2005 moved over to the position of police officer in one of NJ’s largest municipalities.  He has received multiple awards including but not limited to Lifesaving, Meritorious Service, Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Public Service, Several Letters of Recognition, Leadership awards and Certificates of Appreciation from several law enforcement organizations.  As a police officer Benigno has affected over 1,500 arrests and has conducted well over 10,000.00 motor vehicle stops.

He is the author of several police law articles and has written ground breaking courses in the law enforcement industry.  In 2017 Street Cop Training expanded their National Program with extreme success training thousands of police officer’s throughout the United States.  The foundational course Pro-Active Patrol / Becoming a Street Smart Cop is reshaping policing in the United States.  Benigno also runs one of the most popular training platforms via social media with over 35k sworn law enforcement members as of January 2019.

Brad Gilmore

Brad Gilmore began his career in 2011 as a New Jersey Police Officer.  Gilmore was vigilant in his training and education and attended over 500 hours of classroom training specific to narcotics as well as thousands of hours studying the vehicles that he has encountered specific to narcotics and hidden compartments.  Gilmore began making reputable seizures and quickly became viewed as an expert amongst his colleagues in the area of Aftermarket Hidden Compartments and High Level Criminal Interdiction.  After making extremely significant seizures, Gilmore was recognized for his unique talents and was recruited and assigned as a Narcotics Task Force Officer.  Gilmore has seized well over 1,000,000 of US Currency, dozens of kilograms of heroin and cocaine, and weapons being trafficked up and down the roadways of New Jersey. Gilmore is also the Vice President of the New Jersey Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association (N.J.N.E.O.A.). Gilmore has been deemed in superior court as an EXPERT in drug trafficking and aftermarket hidden compartments.

Gilmore joined Street Cop Training in 2018 and has quickly risen to be regarded as one of the country’s leading expert’s in his field.  His instruction methods have been recognized as being one of the best in the law enforcement eudcation space today.

Matt Lloyd

Matt Lloyd began his law enforcement career in 2008 as a New Jersey police officer and is currently a member of his agency’s traffic division. Lloyd made the correlation between traffic enforcement and criminal interdiction early on in career, and made it a priority to master New Jersey’s traffic laws which has resulted in countless arrests and seizures in his career. Lloyd is recognized as a traffic law expert among his peers and is a highly decorated officer having received lifesaving awards, merit awards, Officer of the Year, and numerous commendations for narcotics and weapons seizures.

Lloyd joined Street Cop Training in 2018 after recognizing the importance of traffic laws and the lack of in depth training available. Since then he has contributed tremendously to New Jersey police officers by writing his signature course that has provided extreme clarity on New Jersey traffic laws.

Matt Lloyd’s ability as an instructor in uncanny, and his warm demeanor has given him an extremely respected reputation within the law enforcement community.

Robert Ferreiro

Robert Ferreiro began his career in 2007 when he was hired by a municipal police
department in NJ. During his 12+ years of law enforcement experience, Ferreiro has made hundreds of
arrests for narcotics and weapons offenses. He was previously a detective and also assigned to a
criminal interdiction detail in which he and his partners were responsible for some of the largest self initiated narcotics seizures in his agency’s history.

He is also a recognized Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). Ferreiro is fluent in Spanish and currently holds the rank of Patrol Sergeant.

Kenny Williams

Kenny started his career in 2007 as an Indiana Officer. In 2012 he become a member of DHE (Domestic Highway Enforcement) which allowed him to work Interdiction on a part time basis. Since 2016, he has either worked Interdiction as a part-time or full-time assignment. He has attended hundreds of hours of Interdiction Training and more time spent self-educating. He is also and instructor for DIAP (Drug Interdiction Assistant Program).

Kenny has seized well over 3,000,000 of US Currency, dozens of kilograms of meth and cocaine, several pounds of heroin and fentanyl and over a ton of marijuana being trafficked up and down the roadways of Indiana.

Tom Rizzo

Thomas Rizzo began his law enforcement career in December of 2001, as a Patrolman with the Middlesex Borough Police Department (NJ). In 2004, Rizzo was hired by the Howell Township Police Department (NJ), where he is currently employed as a Captain (Investigations Division Commander).

Rizzo has received several awards/recognition, pertaining to 200-Club Scholarship, Anthony Lordi Award, Meritorious Service, Life-Saver, Unit Citations, Narcotics Enforcement (both individual/unit), in addition to numerous invitations to guest lecture on various topics to both sworn/civilian organizations and schools. Rizzo formulated Howell Township Police Department’s first Criminal Suppression Unit, where he has participated in a variety of search warrant executions, intra/inter-agency collaborations, and take-downs of distributors.

Rizzo received a B.S. from the University of Central Florida (Criminal Justice) and an M.A. from Seton Hall University in Human Resource Training & Development. Rizzo graduated the NJSACOP Command & Leadership Academy in 2009 and was invited to return as an Instructor of Group Leadership Theories. Rizzo has been both a Police Academy and Department Instructor on various topics, however has mainly focused on Leadership Theories, Narcotics Interdiction, Case Law Application, and Search/Seizure.

Rizzo has been an Adjunct Professor with New Jersey City University (Schools of Management, Criminal Justice, and Professional Securities Studies), since 2012, while also teaching for Rutgers School of Public Affairs & Administration (2018) and Fairleigh Dickinson University (2019).
Rizzo has also guest lectured at the annual conference for MALEEDS (Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar), held at Princeton University for the past three years.

Rizzo takes great pride in the constant pursuit of leading by example, while consistently being a student of human behavior. Rizzo has attended countless seminars while compiling a myriad of leadership disciplines to put forth as an attempt to provide insight to a student audience comprised of diverse backgrounds for the ultimate outcome.

Dan Foster

Dan Foster

 Daniel Foster began his law enforcement career in 2011 as a Pennsylvania police officer. He has served as a military police officer in the United States Marine Corps from 2010 – 2017 and is currently a member of the United States Air Force.

Foster is presently employed as a Police Officer in the Patrol Division of a Western Pennsylvania municipality where he serves as a Field Training Officer and the Team Leader for his agency’s Criminal Interdiction Unit and is a member of a countywide Drug Task Force. Early in his career, Dan understood the importance of mastering case law to guide his actions in the field.

His vast knowledge of case law has directly led to numerous significant arrests and seizures. Viewed as a case law expert among his peers he is routinely called upon to offer legal guidance in the field. Foster is a recipient of a National Interdiction Award and has received numerous other awards throughout his military and law enforcement careers. Additionally, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Business Administration.  Foster is also an IACP certified Drug Recognition Expert.
